PlanTracer is an application for AutoDesk's Architectural Desktop
(ADT) and AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT, designed to convert 2D floor and building
plan drawings into intelligent models automatically and/or
semi-automatically. These models are suitable for immediate use in AEC or
Facilities Management (FM) applications.
PlanTracer enables you to convert simple graphics of source
floor plans into objects such as walls, columns, windows, doors, etc. The
program can process any 2D floor plan loaded in AutoCAD or ADT. You can
use DWG/DXF files or scanned raster drawings.
